The Sky Above Saint-Rémy

A golden wheat field fills the lower half of the canvas, rippling with Van Gogh's characteristic short, directional strokes. Two dark cypress trees rise against a swirling sky of blues, whites, and pale greens, the clouds moving in great spiralling waves above the distant Alpilles mountains.
